When we made our trip to Oklahoma last we worked on my mother's lawn. She has lovely flowers that she grooms faithfully spring, summer and fall. In one corner she keeps a bed of zinnias. The plants themselves were beginning to appear straggly (if this is a word). The last few blooms were still so brilliant and colorful I asked her if I could have them for a painting. Of course she clipped them for me and I set them up in a blue and white vase that has a frogged cover. A beautiful primary color scheme began to appear. This painting can be purchased here:

Zinnias are so vibrant and you have captured a lovely vase full, the blue of the vase sets them off beautifully, sweet painting.
Beautiful! I have zinnias in my garden, and they are beginning to look straggly also. I hate to see the flowers of summer leave my garden, but the colors of the trees are amazing, so that makes me happy.
This is very nice! I love the blues with the bright flowers. Here in San Antonio, the zinnias are still blooming their little heads off. But we don't get fall color, so it's a trade off.
I like yur composition, with this little delft blue vase, and the zinnias are so happy!
Lovely on Cheri, and what a unique vase.
