Red Geraniums are so colorful.  Our farm home has white siding, a green roof, and is trimmed with black shutters.  I have a red front door.  I wanted to use red geraniums as accents in our landscaping for my front porch.  I'm pleased and of course......inspired.  So the thing to do is..... paint them.  You can see this little painting by clicking here.

When we made our trip to Oklahoma last we worked on my mother's lawn.  She has lovely flowers that she grooms faithfully spring, summer and fall.  In one corner she keeps  a bed of zinnias.  The plants themselves were beginning to appear straggly (if this is a word).  The last few blooms were still so brilliant and colorful I asked her if I could have them for a painting.  Of course she clipped them for me and I set them up in a blue and white vase that has a frogged cover.  A beautiful primary color scheme began to appear.  This painting can be purchased here:

This is an original oil painting that features five patterned and colorful, little-girl jumper dresses hanging on a clothesline. The inspiration for it came from a fellow etsy seller. Lauren was gracious enough to give me permission to paint it. It reminds me of my mother's clothes line. There were lots of girls in our home. I was especially drawn to the different patterns and colors of these little clothes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did painting it.
