Red Watering Pitcher - Still Life Oil Painting

12x12 Oil on Canvas
Cheri Wollenberg
I paint a lot of red things!  When I see red items at a department store, home interior boutique, or flea market I get excited.  This little painting didn't take too long to arrange and paint.  I wanted to get right to it and express color.  You can find it by clicking RED.  Thanks for stopping by.  Please visit again.

Brass Pot and Red Apple

8x8 Oil on Artist Board
by
Cheri Wollenberg
This painting features a little brass-like pot that I picked up somewhere at a flea market.  It is more like an aluminum metal and is very yellowish.  I've always liked the shape of it, but the color is not too desirable.  It doesn't reflect things like I thought it might.  It needed a punch of color and the red apple seemed to do it.  To buy this painting click

Pink Peonies and Black Kitty Cat

8x8 Oil on Artist Panel
by
Cheri Wollenberg
I picked this little ceramic cat up at a local flea market several years ago.  I have wanted to paint it with something for a long time, but never had just the right objects to place with him.  But as I worked with the peonies and black vase, it was like he was purring and trying to get my attention.  He worked out perfectly for this simple still life and he looks like he has found a place of importance (laugh)!  You can find him here.
