Little Nest of Eggs - Daily Painting

Little Nest of Eggs
6x6 Artist Board
A Daily Painting by Cheri Wollenberg
I am very busy right now moving to another home.  I have studios in two different places, and I am preparing for two exhibitions.  This little nest of blue eggs is one I enjoyed painting while I was on a trip to New Mexico last week.  I have painted birds' eggs and nests before and they are quite fun.  This  painting will be for sale in a gallery I'm working with so if you are interested, you will need to contact me by email located in my profile.

This is so beautiful, Cheri! So soft and "homey" looking. Interesting that you are changing nests yourself!

Lovely. Great values and colors in the nest, great job on the leaves. Wonderful details. It's hard to believe this in only 6 X 6. Well done!

Actually, Karen, I'm afraid to change things! I usually stick to what I see. I was inspired by George Clare and William Henry Hunts' paintings of birds nests. I think from what I had read that Clare was very motivated and influenced by Hunt's paintings;however, I love both artists' work.
