Handel
12x12 Oil on Canvas

This "bovine muscian" painting was actually the first one I painted. I named him Handel right off. I don't have any particular reason why this name came to me except that he does look gentle and thoughtful. He is relaxed and eating his grass. He didn't seem to mind that I was taking a lot of pictures of him. In fact he seemed to pause occasionally like he wanted me to get a particular shot (laugh).

Love your cows, each one has his own personality and very aptly named! They make me smile and I'm sure their prints will be very popular.
You got the shot for a fabulous painting Cheri, his nose and eyes are amazing!
I am drawn to the nose, or snout, or whatever they call that thing that they smell and chew with. Anyway, you have rendered that so realistically--the texture, the color--it's just fabulous!
Fabulous.
This cow series is terrific! Such sweet faces.
