I have a small collection of old crock bowls, pitchers and containers. They inspire me a lot. Maybe it's because I wonder who had them and how they used them in their kitchen. I remember my maternal grandmother mixing and baking from one. Anyway they make beautiful subjects to place with other items in still lifes for me to paint. The red bell peppers were some that my husband and I produced this year. In fact the plant we have is still producing them. I'm amazed how beautiful they are. I thought them very fitting for this still life set up. This small painting can be found in my Etsy shop. You can follow the link by clicking HERE.
